Building on basic manners for advanced goals and skills, including Canine Good Citizen & Therapy Dog Prep, Brewery Manners, and Intro to Rally Obedience.
Outdoor Adventure Dog classes focused on living your most adventurous life with your dog!
Level 2 graduates & up are invited to join us in monthly drop-in classes held at various locations around Fort Collins. We’ll practice training skills in the real life environments that are part of your daily life with your dog!
At Summit®, we offer multiple levels of group classes to help our students meet various advanced training goals. For our students who are committed to training beyond the basics, we offer a flexible group class bundle so that you can save on tuition while still being able to choose your own adventure by selecting the classes that are most important to you and your goals!
Level 3 Classes for Refining Skills
Level 3 Classes for Refining Skills
If you’ve graduated one or more Level 2 classes, you are ready to level up your dog’s skills with a Level 3 class!
Our Level 3 classes focus on developing advanced dog skills and refining your and your dog’s relationship to support you through more challenging adventures!
Level 2 Class Graduation with Summit - You must complete at least one Level 2 class within our program before advancing to a Level 3 class. This is to set all of our students up for success and allow our Level 3 classes to be focused on advanced skills. If you enroll in a Level 3 class as your first service with us, we will ask you to reschedule to a Level 2 class first.
If you believe that you and your dog warrant an exception to this policy based on your previous training together, please contact us before enrolling in a Level 3 class to obtain instructor approval!
You can take one or more of these classes (in any order) before moving on to Level 4.
Colorado Canine Good Citizen class builds upon the skills from our Level 2 Life Skills classes to equip you and your dog with the advanced skills needed to navigate your Colorado adventures with confidence, including advanced leash walking, recalls, polite greetings, and public manners. This class will prepare you and your dog for the Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advanced evaluations, and teams that are ready can complete these evaluations during class.
4 Weeks - $195
Rally Obedience is a fun dog sport that refines your dog's engagement with you, ability to follow complex cues, and heeling/leash walking skills. It also gives you, the human handler, the opportunity to practice your clear communication and navigating a course of challenges in partnership with your dog. This class is for those who want to work on advanced dog handling and training in a fun and engaging way!

4 Weeks - $195
Take your dog's basic skills to the next level and help him or her become the best brewery buddy ever! This super fun class is taught IN A BREWERY and focuses on all the essential skills for being a great brewery buddy - focus around distractions, sleeping under the table, NOT stealing your beer, and more!
4 Weeks - $195
You can take one or more of these classes (in any order) before moving on to Level 4.

Level 3 Drink With Your Dog® Brewery Manners Class Learning Objectives
Teaching you the essentials of visiting a brewery with your dog, and teaching your dog the skills for being an excellent brewery companion!

Graduates of Level 2 and up are invited to join our monthly drop-in Training Trek excursions! Practice your training skills in real-life environments on mini-adventures around Fort Collins.

If you’ve graduated one or more Level 3 classes, you are ready to level up your dog’s skills once again with a Level 4 class!
Our Level 4 classes focus on generalizing your dog’s advanced training skills to more environments and continuing to build excellent communication between you and your dog.
Level 3 Class Graduation with Summit - You must complete at least one Level 3 class within our program before advancing to a Level 4 class. Please note that the next level of Rally Obedience at Level 4 (Rally Novice) specifically requires completion of the Level 3 Intro to Rally class first.

Summit’s Capstone Course
We all love a good adventure, and it's always better with our dogs by our side! This class is all about fine-tuning our dogs’ skills for use in distracting environments like the hiking trail or city center! We’ll cover essential Trail Skills like coming when called, yielding the trail to others, sit & down stay while distractions pass by, as well as Safety Skills such as emergency stop in position & get behind you, and more! This class will also include training skills for passing the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Urban evaluation. Each week of class is held in a different location around Fort Collins.
6 Weeks - $275
Rally Novice builds on the foundations of Rally you learned in Intro to Rally Obedience! You will continue to refine and polish your and your dog's skills to master the Rally Novice level signs, through running full courses and troubleshooting challenges. Additionally, you will start to work your dog off-leash in preparation for moving on to the Rally Advanced level.
6 Weeks - $275
Rally Advanced+ builds the skills you've been developing throughout Rally Novice! You will continue to refine and polish you and your dog's skills to master the Rally Advanced level signs, through running full courses and troubleshooting challenges. Rally Advanced+ continues to review and improve on skills covered in previous Rally levels, while also introducing the Excellent course signs. Students training at this level are encouraged to repeat this class as desired.

Level 4 Adventure Dog Class Learning Objectives
Teaching you about going on hiking and other outdoor adventures with your dog, and teaching your dog advanced skills to navigate these adventures safely & successfully!
